I am pleased to inform you that the DB Community Hall & Integrated Services Centre has been approved by the Government Departments.

According to the Lands Department, the developer has the obligation to build a community centre in Siena.

The Community Hall (1,153 square metres GFA) is situated on the ground floor. It will provide venues such as a multi-purpose hall, a stage, a stage meeting room, a conference room, etc. for community activities.

The Integrated Services Centre (678 square metres GFA) is located on the first floor. It will include an activity room, training studios, a mini-theatre, an adventure corner, an audio-visual room, etc. It will offer one-stop diversified social services and provide after-school and social activities.

The construction works will start in the first quarter of 2006 and will be completed in mid 2007. The Architectural Services Department, Home Affairs Department (HAD) and the Social Welfare Department (SWD) will closely monitor the progress of the project. The Community Hall and the Integrated Services Centre will be transferred to the HAD and SWD respectively upon its completion. DB residents will certainly benefit from the various community activities and social services provided by the facility.

If you have any views or opinions on this new project, please let me know.
