Dear DB residents,

Re: $2 Concessionary Fare

Since I issued my newsletter on 10 May 2012 urging the Government and relevant transportation operators to speed up with the Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities (the Scheme), I am pleased to report to you that following MTR’s implementation of the Scheme last year, the same will apply to Discovery Bay Transportation Services Limited, i.e. the Ferry Company’s DB-Central service with effect from 3 March 2013.

Please note that all eligible persons under the Scheme must use the relevant specified Octopus Cards to enjoy the concessionary fare.

The sale and add-value service of Senior T-Cards will be suspended. The Ferry Company has made arrangement for the remaining value of the T-Cards to be refunded to the cardholders.

For further details, please refer to the Ferry Company’s notice or contact their customer service hotlines at 2987 7351 or 3651 2345.

Yours sincerely
